It all began with vision…
What is the Church Storehouse Vision?
In 2016, Homesteaders of America was established. Homesteaders from all over the world were suddenly talking about taking back our land, our food sources, and our health care systems. In 2020, we saw exactly why this movement is necessary, and we’ll see it again.
The homesteading movement is a movement of God within the earth to help bring forth the true New Testament church structure. Homesteading communities look so much like what the church of Acts should look like now, more than two thousand years later. Food, water, medical, clothing, housing, and truly not a single person in the body of Christ in need. Singular homesteads and families across the world have been creating their own personal preps and “storehouses”, but what about the church?
In 2025, the Lord gave us a vision of what, exactly, a storehouse of the church could look like. Large walk-in coolers, a prepper and food pantry room full of non-perishable foods, a clothing bank, bunk beds for orphans and those needing a place to stay, showers and bathrooms, and most importantly, an upper room to fellowship and meet in.

We began to share this vision strategically with other like minded believers, and we came to quickly realize that God was giving this vision not just to one person, but to so many of us.
We have the vision, now it’s time to build. We want to connect with you. What do you think the storehouse in your region should look like? Let us tell you the basics, and then you can decide!

What did the church look like in the book of Acts?
We encourage you to sit down and really read the book of Acts, and then read the rest of the New Testament too. Throughout it, you’ll see the beginning structure of how the New Testament church was created to function.
- Governmental Function—It was created to function as a governmental entity for the body of Christ. Jesus didn’t abolish the law, He fulfilled it. He raised the standard in commandments, and then He gave us even more commandments—to love the Lord Your God with all your heart, and to love your neighbor as yourself.
- Established Leaders—When Peter and the other Apostles begin evangelizing, thousands of people were coming into the Kingdom of God every single week (sometimes daily). Spirit-filled and wise leaders were necessary. In Acts 6 there were those complaining the widows were being over looked. So the Apostles said, “Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.” They chose Stephen (who was later martyred for his faith), and six others. The apostles laid hands on them and released them into their new ministry work. We see the establishing of Elders and Deacons further in the New Testament. Why the need for leaders? Because without a leader, there is no vision. And when there is no vision, people perish (Proverbs 29:18)
- The Food System—With thousands coming into the kingdom each week, how do you suppose they fed everyone? Acts 4 states that the Holy Spirit would move on some in the body of Christ to sell possessions, donate land, and to give monetarily to the body of Christ for the Apostles to distribute accordingly. However, let’s also not forget that “tithes and offerings” were still very much a part of the Jewish culture. Where did these tithes and offerings go in the New Testament church? Well, into the storehouse, of course. Malachi 3:10 says this, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” This was a blessing not just because of the generosity in the body of Christ, but we truly believe that the harvest (salvations) that would be reaped because of this storehouse structure in place would see incredible amounts of abundance (not just food, but salvations). The culture didn’t change. Jews that were converted to following “the way” were still living in this way, but now it was being distributed to the body of Christ all over the place. Certainly, wise and spirit-filled leaders (and church bodies) were storing these things somewhere. This meant that it wasn’t just money being brought in as an offering, it was food and herbs from producers—homesteaders, farmers, and believers. Many churches have the “food bank” aspect down, but it is dependent on the centralized food system. When the centralized system and grocery store is distressed (or gone), where will the food come from?
- Sharing the Abundance—The Church Storehouse focuses on encouraging those in the body who have an abundance of food, or those who simply want to donate to the prepper pantry, to bring their abundance to share with the body of Christ. For so long the church has focused on “money” as tithes and offerings, but there is no storehouse to tend to the body of Christ. The Storehouse focuses on gleaning from farmers in their fields, or networking with farmers who have an abundance and would like to donate to the storehouse. It gives a place for believers in fellowship to share their abundance of produce, milk, eggs, and other products from their own homesteads and farms. Likewise, we would share the abundance in clothing that we no longer need, and more.
- Medical Network—the storehouse isn’t just about food and necessities like clothing, it’s also about medical needs. Some storehouses will create networks of Bible believing medical professionals who will literally be the boots on the ground for their community. We have seen some bodies of believers that have created an entire network of medical professionals in their church and community, and actually have a “doctor’s office” for their community. We won’t talk about this much online, but we will give you basic tools to get you started.
- Taking In the Orphans—while we don’t like to believe that our country (America) will ever be worse than it already is, in some countries it is already so bad that parents literally sell their children just to have money to buy food, or to spend on their demonic agendas. Other times there are simply orphans in need. The church should be the one taking in these orphans. Some storehouses will take them in temporarily, requiring a “bunk room” for orphans to stay in. Other storehouses will create entire orphanages in their region where the body of Christ can take in a place these orphans locally. We will walk you through some basic resources where you can find out the best options for your area.
- The Concept—if everyone is donating and providing for the storehouse, no one is ever in need. Therefore creating a parallel system that is no longer dependent on any governmental structure.
